If the only mistake that I made,
Was watching you dance in the rain.
I could die a happy man,
But I have done the best I can.
I have not sorrow nor shame,
Nor do I shoulder the blame.
These words are not etched in stone,
They are not scarred on bone.
The future is yet to be finished,
Dances and acts to be witnessed.
My steps are yet to be placed,
On this world that is naught but a stage.
Just as soldiers shall die for honor,
So too shall my life be fodder.
Nothing against us shall remain,
